As a beginner blogger, I have been told to write anything I felt I want to write. Since I was a huge fan of anime, I decided to post this lists, sharing with you whom have never heard about this anime. People always assumed anime have give nothing but entertainment and wasting out times when we could do something more better. You have to remember that anime and cartoons are a VERY different things.
Do you really thing the only anime could do is making us laugh? No, It's also brings tears to us, giving many useful advice about friend and family. Anime also gave certain people courage on how to be brave to face the world. Because anime itself have many genre. Conflict and tragedy are normal. That's why I love about anime. <3 ~
1. Anohana
When it involves girl, there's always the boys.Six childhood friends grew apart in high school. One of them is Jintan, now a shut-in. He gets a request to fulfill a wish for Menma, the only one of their friends to have stayed the same over the years. In order to grant her wish, he will have to find and reunite their old friends.
2. Attack on Titan
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligent, devour human beings and worst of all, seem to do it for pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness someting horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. The people then watch in horror as the titans eat the villager. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.
3. Princess Mononoke
A calm village residing in the mountains comes under attack from a demon-possessed boar one day. Ashitaka, a young man and the prince of the tribe, engaged the creature in an attempt to save his village. During the battle, he was attacked and cursed. Following his village's traditions, he is exiled and become a wanderer, looking for the answer to cure his curse before it engulfs him. He accidentally save two men from Iron Town, a town that produces large amount of Ironsand for gunpowder that lead to the destruction of the forests, whom was under leadership of Lady Eboshi. He also stumbled onto a human girl from the Wolf clan called San who seek revenge for the forest.
4. Free!
The story revolves around Haruka Nanase, a boy who has always loved to be immersed in the water, and swim in it. Before graduating from elementary school, he participated in swimming tournament along with his fellow swimming club members, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rin Matsuoka. After achieving victory, each boys went on their separate ways. Time passed and suddenly Rin appears, challenging Haruka for a match in which he wanted to won desperately. Haruka gather together with Makoto and Nagisa and brings a new member, Rei Ryuzaki to create the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club in order to defeat Rin.
A plain young hatter named Sophie has her life changed when an evil with transforms her into an old woman. Unable to face her family in such condition, Sophie runs away to search a way to become young again. After a help from the turnip she saved, Sophie found herself in the moving castle owned by the wizard Howl. She befriend Howl's apprentice, Markl, and the fire demon Calcifer, and eventually, Howl himself. She decided to becomes the castle's cleaning lady in an effort to not only find the solution to her problem but also to save Howl from his terrible secrets as well.
6. Ponyo
Hayao Miyazaki's version of My Little Mermaid. Brunhilde, a child from the sea was saved by a human boy Sosuke when she was wandering in the sea and got stuck in a bottle. After lick Sosuke's blood on the wound. Taking a liking on her, Sosuke decided to keep her and named her Ponyo. After Ponyo was taken by by her father, she flee one more. And this time, to tell Sosuke she loves him. Is she going to have her happily ever after?
7. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou!
Thanks to his parents' job transfer, high school freshman Kazunari Usa finally gets to enjoy living on his own in the Kawai Complex, a boarding house that provides meals for its residents. Ritsu, the senpai he admires, also lives in Kawai Complex, as do a few other "unique" individuals: his masochistic roommate Shirosaki; beautiful, big-breasted Mayumi who has no luck in finding men; and sly, predatory college woman Sayaka. Surrounded by these people, Usa never finds his daily life boring.
8. Kuroshitsuji
In Victorian-era London lives the young earl, Ciel Phantomhive. On the night of his tenth birthday, a fire engulfed his manor house, his parents were murdered, and he was captured by a mysterious organization. After a month of enduring excruciating and humiliating torture, Ciel returns to the Phantomhive household with an enigmatic black-clad butler, Sebastian Michaelis. To others, it seems that the butler is simply the best at his craft, from anticipating his young master's needs to carrying them out to the best of his inexplicable abilities. Little do they know, Sebastian is actually a demon that has entered into a contract with Ciel, promising to help the boy achieve revenge on those who have wronged him in exchange for his soul. As the Queen's Watchdog and standing at the top of the British underworld, Ciel solves the crimes plaguing London while waiting for the day he will exact his revenge.
9. Romeo X Juliet
In the floating continent of Neo Verona, the Montague family seized control and murdered every member of the Capulet family with the exception of Capulet's daughter, Juliet Fiammata Asto Capulet. 14 years later, Juliet and the remnants of Capulet's retainers live hidden from the iron fist of the Montague family. Juliet has long forgotten the murder of her family or her identity, and cross dresses as Odin and the town's hero of justice, "Red Whirlwind". A sudden escape in her daily escapades leads her to meet Romeo Candorebanto Montague, the kind son of the tyrannical Montague. Destiny has been set as these two individuals soon to be "star-crossed lovers" are cruelly toyed with by fate in the midst of war. Loosely based on the play by William Shakespeare.
10. Barakamon
As a punishment for punching a famous Calligrapher, young handsome Calligrapher Handa Seishu is exiled on a small island. As someone who has never lived outside of a city, Handa has to adapt to his new wacky neighbors, like people traveling on a tractor, unwanted visitors who never use the front door, annoying kids using his home as a playground, etc. Can this city guy handle all the crazy hardships?
11. XxxHolic
Watanuki Kimihiro can see spirits and other assorted supernatural creatures, which is quite a bothersome ability he strongly dislikes. On the way home one day, while plagued by some spirits, he is inexplicably compelled to enter a strange house. There, he encounters Yuuko, a mysterious woman who claims to be able to rid him of the ability to see and attract the troublesome creatures for a price. She demands that he work at her "store" that grants wishes to people, and thus begins Watanuki's adventures through weird and wonderful events.
12. My Little Monster
Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, he becomes convinced they are friends. Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku? A cold-hearted girl and super-troublemaker romance with a fresh new perspective.
